Pittsburgh’s Jim Krenn is heading to Washington D.C. this weekend to receive the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award. The Ceremony, which will be Friday, March 16th at the FBI Headquarters, is held in honor of community leaders:
This special award, presented on behalf of the Director of the FBI, was formally created in 1990 as a way to honor individuals and organizations for their efforts in combating crime, terrorism, drugs, and violence in America. We invite you to visit your local field office website for details on the program in your area, but we would like to capture here the names and organizations of the people who have most recently been recognized around the country for their service above and beyond the call of duty to help keep America and its kids safe.
See the FBI’s Director’s Community Leadership Award for more information.
On November 8, 2011, Jimmy received the award locally by the Pittsburgh Division, “for his endless dedication and commitment to the Pittsburgh Community through the multiple charities he has supported for the past twenty five years.”
